As a Maintenance Contract Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating contractors and stakeholders to ensure homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. What you’ll do Lead and manage contractor relationships to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and customer satisfaction Resolve contractual disputes and complaints efficiently, maintaining a focus on fair outcomes and service continuity Monitor and report on contractor performance against agreed KPI's, driving accountability and continuous improvement Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement service enhancements Oversee contract budgets, ensuring financial control and value for money across all service areas Why join us You’ll be part of a team that’s passionate about making things better for our customers. You have A RICS or CIOB degree accredited Building Surveying degree or similar qualification, or strong equivalent experience built up through your working profession (that can be evidenced) Strong knowledge of housing, building legislation and compliance Experience of managing contractors and resolving disputes Confidence using data to drive decisions and performance An experienced people manager Stronger together We do our best work when we’re ourselves. You’ll work core hours between 08:30 to 16:30 with flexibility built in We typically work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Durham or Newcastle upon Tyne office, with the rest from home.
