MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN

We are working with an established engineering company in North Rural Leominster seeking a Maintenance and Development Technician. This full-time, permanent role requires a skilled and versatile person to support various site maintenance activities, to ensure safety standards, and assist with operational projects. The successful candidate will work closely with a small friendly team of engineers and operations staff to maintain the site’s high standards and contribute to ongoing growth.

• Carry out routine repairs and maintenance tasks both inside and outside, ensuring the facility remains in good condition
• Perform a variety of hands-on tasks across the site both internally and externally, across the workshop, warehouse and farm
• Assist the engineering team with project prototypes, assembly work, utilising an array of hand tools and engineering machinery, including welding and spraying
• Telehandler operation to assist with the movement of materials, supplies, and equipment as required across the site
• Conduct routine safety inspections, risk assessments and regular tool checks to support a safe working environment and assist with site safety drills and EOP procedures
