Our cornerstone is to be the most reliable and accessible supplier of testing solutions. We are currently hiring a Maintenance and Facilities Technician. We offer an awesome benefits package, clean environment, and opportunities for advancement! Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, occasional overtime. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Repairs and troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Trouble shooting and repair of electrical systems. PLC, Motors, VFD etc. Preventative maintenance of equipment or machinery per the PM database. Uses schematic and assembly drawings to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. Plans and completes projects, refurbishments, and rebuilds throughout the facility. Always maintain applicable personal tool requirements. Materials, parts and supply ordering as needed following JIT and Lean principles. Cleans work or service area when work is completed. Daily housekeeping and 5S of work areas and maintenance shop. Performs work according to written and verbal communication. Works independently with minimal supervision. Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Maintenance or Facilities technical certification is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role required. Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining sheet metal punching and forming equipment required. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email) required. Experience with Salvagnini, Bystronic, Murata, and Cincinnati equipment preferred. Experience with PM programs and spare parts inventory management preferred.
Responsibilities
The Maintenance and Facilities Technician is responsible for repairing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance on equipment. The role includes planning and completing projects and maintaining a clean work environment.
