Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance and Logistics Supervisor, this role will have you involved in the day-to-day planning of all heavy vehicle movements, maintenance forecasting and scheduling, fleet selection and approvals and general improvements for the Track Renewals department.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Understand site Safety Systems and their link to health and safety
  • Conduct risk assessments and management of chance process for new equipment and plant being brought into the department
  • Lead improvement projects, including process improvements within the wider Track Renewals department
  • Manage the fleet effectively and efficiently
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation with senior leaders and team members
  • Be involved in the co-ordination of all heavy vehicle and driver movements.
  • Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to implement and deliver policies and procedures
  • Strategic Thinking, Planning & Problem-solving ability
