WestCorp Solutions is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Planner to support a major infrastructure expansion project at our client’s remote industrial site in Northern Saskatchewan. This role focuses on equipment readiness planning, maintenance strategy development, and SAP preparation for static mechanical equipment. The position is fly-in, fly-out with client-chartered flights from Saskatoon and includes on-site camp accommodations. Candidates outside the Saskatoon area are responsible for their own travel to and from the charter. The client offers flexibility with either a Monday – Thursday schedule, or a 14/14 rotation. The initial contract is expected to be 6-12 months, with potential for extension based on the client’s operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Journeyperson certification in a mechanical trade (e.g., Pipefitter, Steamfitter, Millwright, Industrial Mechanic)
• Must have hands-on experience in maintenance planning and reliability strategy development for static equipment (e.g., piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers) in an industrial, mining, or processing environment.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Skilled in building SAP master data (BOMs, Task Lists, maintenance strategies)
• Experience in SAP PM or similar CMMS platforms.
• Familiarity with RCM methodologies and prior involvement in capital projects or commissioning considered strong assets.
• Comfortable alternating between field verification and office-based planning work.
• Willing to work in a remote, camp-based setting on a rotational shift.

• Develop and input all newly installed equipment data into SAP (e.g., equipment creation, BOMs, task lists, and frequency setups for Reliability-Centered Maintenance).
• Translate engineering drawings and project documentation into detailed maintenance strategies.
• Validate and adjust equipment data in the field as installations progress to ensure alignment with engineering plans.
• Collaborate with reliability and maintenance teams to ensure preventative maintenance strategies are aligned with project and operational goals.
• Support the setup and documentation of spare parts for warehouse and procurement planning.
• Proactively drive reliability planning to ensure maintenance readiness before project completion.
