As a rapidly growing company, Pipp is looking for a Maintenance and Safety Manager to lead our maintenance team and safety initiatives, ensuring our equipment and facilities are maintained and safety programs are functioning well and within compliance.
Key responsibilities include:

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Direct and supervise maintenance technicians
  • Hire, train, and evaluate team members
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Schedule repairs and maintenance activities
  • Prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion
  • Manage budgets and track expenses

Facility & Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform regular inspections to identify maintenance needs
  • Oversee repairs and renovations
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintained efficiently

Safety/Compliance

  • Following OSHA and MiOSHA regulations implements and trains the appropriate safety programs and procedures to the appropriate individuals.
  • Leads and promotes the Safety Committee
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct safety inspections and address hazards

The ideal candidate will possess or demonstrate the following:

  • Associates degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and CAD 2D software
  • Proficient in maintenance software use.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred
