We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities team in a permanent night‑shift role, working Monday to Friday, 10.00pm – 6.00am.   About the Opportunity Working alongside a dedicated and experienced team, you will support the delivery of a preventative maintenance programme to meet the daily operational needs of the FPH campus.   Your responsibilities will include assisting qualified Maintenance Technicians with the general repair and upkeep of our four buildings. This will involve a range of tasks across basic plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, and carpentry. You will also be responsible for minor office moves, including the relocation of people, furniture, and equipment, as well as setting up meeting and training rooms as required.   About You You are a practical, hands‑on person with experience in general maintenance or handyman work. You will bring: General building or maintenance experience, including carpentry and painting Physical capability to safely lift and move items up to 25kg Strong understanding of health and safety practices A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to work well under pressure and manage daily tasks   You are customer‑focused with clear communication skills and take pride in accurate job reporting. Experience with fault‑finding or minor repairs will be an advantage.
