Description Job Title: Maintenance Assistant Full Time Location: Grand Villa Altamonte Springs Assisted Living Facility Job Summary: Grand Villa Altamonte Springs is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of our facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. Responsibilities: - Assist with the maintenance and repair of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. - Perform routine inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance issues and report them to the Maintenance Supervisor. - Assist with the upkeep of the grounds, including landscaping and snow removal. - Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and notify the Maintenance Supervisor when supplies need to be ordered. - Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely and professional manner. - Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred. - Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing.
