Job Title: Part-Time General Maintenance Assistant

Role Overview:
As a General Maintenance Assistant, you will assist with general repairs, maintenance, and upkeep tasks to ensure the smooth running of our premises. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks such as light plumbing, electrical work, painting, and repairs, as well as general cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks across the building
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks when needed
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues
- Maintain and repair tools and equipment
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in all work areas
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of office furniture and fixtures
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Prior experience in maintenance or a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- proactive and reliable attitude
- Physical stamina and ability to lift or move items as needed
- Please note: Tools are not provided, so applicants must supply their own tools for the role.
