This role is essential in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for our residents, families, and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or assistant
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of tools, appliances, and building systems
  • Strong skills in painting, general repairs, and preventive maintenance
  • Manual dexterity, problem-solving abilities, and physical strength
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours if needed

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, furnishings, and property
  • Maintain work order system to ensure timely and efficient repairs
  • Keep all equipment in clean, safe, and serviceable condition
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal basis
  • Safely store and handle hazardous chemicals per OSHA guidelines
  • Assist with painting, minor carpentry, and other facility improvement projects
  • Report and correct unsafe conditions promptly
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize interruptions to resident care
  • Remain available to respond to facility emergencies as needed
  • Complete additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Director
