Priory Hospital Bristol is an elegant 18th century country residence set in beautiful parkland close to the centre of Bristol, less than 5 minutes away from the M32 leading directly onto the M4/M5 motorway.
Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group. It has 77 beds over seven wards varying from Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric Intensive Care, Acquired Brain Injury, Huntington’s and Dementia, along with a growing outpatient therapy service.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a key part in ensuring our facilities are well-maintained, with a focus on painting and decorating responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and tasks
Maintain records of maintenance work and inventory of parts/supplies
Communicate with maintenance staff, management and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Ensure that reactive works are managed appropriately
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools and equipment
Assist in budgeting and procurement of maintenance supplies and services
Plan and execute painting and decorating projects for various facilities, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to health and safety standards
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance and painting needs
Ensure that all work meets quality standards and complies with company policies and regulations
Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to existing maintenance decorating processes
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth maintenance operations
Prepare reports on maintenance activities including painting and decorating projects for management to review
Qualifications
Proven experience in maintenance coordination, facilities management or related fields
Strong knowledge of painting and decorating techniques, materials and safety practices
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
