Must possess and maintain a clean driving record. MORE ON THE ROLE: As a Maintenance Assistant you’ll work both independently and, on a team, to provide safe and supportive housing to individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness or living with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI). You will work at a variety of SLS properties in St. Paul and Minneapolis to complete work-orders, apartment turns, landscaping, etc. You'll interact with team members and clients as you work within their offices and living spaces to maintain a well-kept property. You will be a part of weekly team meetings to connect and share thoughts and idea on how we can best accomplish our goals, and you’ll have one-on-one meetings with your manager to further support you, develop your skills, problem solve, and further learn aspects of the role. This role is a great way to expand your mechanical skills and gain experience in property maintenance.
