Inspect lighting, HVAC units, plumbing, safety equipment, and other areas regularly. Assist residents with minor repairs and moves. Maintain lawns, landscaping, outdoor areas, and community vehicles. Troubleshoot maintenance problems and coordinate with vendors for complex repairs. Ensure maintenance coverage for after-hours emergencies. What You’ll Need: Prior experience in building maintenance (Assisted Living experience preferred). Knowledge of: Plumbing: commodes, fixtures, drains, heaters, dishwashers, ice machines. HVAC: operation/mechanics of heat pumps, refrigeration systems. Electrical systems: wiring, voltage, amperage. Mechanics: design and operation of engines. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Ability to communicate clearly, use sound judgment, and handle emergencies effectively.
