OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through regular maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, be able to read schematics, and have experience in various maintenance tasks. A commitment to customer service and teamwork is crucial as you will be working closely with other staff members to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding logic controllers is preferred.
• Experience in welding or residential painting is a plus.
• Prior experience with TELS or similar software is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Leadership qualities with experience supervising others is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities, including electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Assist in the supervision of maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely.
• Utilize TELS System for tracking work orders and inventory management.
• Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects, providing support in welding, residential painting, and other tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any facility-related concerns from staff or visitors promptly.
