Floor Maintenance Technician Rate: $16.60 - $19.06/hour (depending on experience) Shift: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm Northgate Health Care Facility is seeking a dependable Floor Maintenance Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. In this role, you'll be responsible for preserving and protecting floor surfaces throughout the facility while supporting overall environmental services operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Sweep, mop, and maintain floor surfaces throughout the facility * Perform floor stripping, buffing, waxing, and refinishing as needed * Clean and shampoo carpets and rugs * Complete light window, wall, and surface cleaning duties * Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively * Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment * Follow all workplace safety procedures and infection control standards * Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents and visitors * Perform additional housekeeping and floor care duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * Previous floor maintenance experience preferred * Knowledge of floor care equipment, cleaning products, and safety procedures * Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Respect for resident privacy, dignity, and rights * Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented * Ability to perform physical tasks and remain active throughout the workday BENEFITS: * Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-Time * Weekly or Same-Day Pay Options * Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Life Insurance * Employee Referral Bonus Program * Retirement Saving Options
