Job Details Job Location: New Berlin - New Berlin, WI 53146 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Not Specified Job Shift: Any Job Category: Entry Level The Maintenance Associate will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. If they are unable to complete repairs and/or improvements the Maintenance Associate will work with the Operations Manager and outside vendors to help obtain quotes and complete projects as needed. Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash, snow plowing etc. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (heating and ventilation). Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations. Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. Performs routine maintenance on building systems. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned. Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid state driver license and maintain an acceptable driving record. Must be able to use personal vehicle to travel to different locations when company vehicles are not available. Related experience preferred. On-the-job training offered. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift-up to 75 pounds at a time.
