Location Hazelwood Center, 1800 Old Bluegrass Ave. Louisville, KY 40215 Required Education and Experience * High School degree or GED equivalent *  Previous Maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical or HVAC experience preferred.   Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Full Time: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (must be able to flex hours/work overtime as needed).   Must be able to participate in on call after hours maintenance rotation.  Essential Functions: Under the supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor the employee will be responsible for * Assisting in repairs to buildings, furniture, doors, door locks, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs.   * Assist in maintaining facility grounds, including mowing: weed eating, picking up debris on a daily basis, trimming.   * Complete drywall installation and repairs including painting.   * Be responsible for moving of furniture for offices and homes. * Assist in other shops and perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.   * Schedule work so to least interfere with the individuals that live here. * Responsible for keeping all parts and tools in possession till work is completed. * Inspects and checks for the working performance of equipment in Bingham Gardens buildings. Works from work order system. * Preforms preventative maintenance and completes PM documentation to assigned areas. * Assists in snow removal as needed. * Keeps work areas clean, organized. * Keeps an inventory of tools and supplies. * Repairs or assists with repairs to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. * Will be on call for a week at a time, on a rotating basis. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time with no restrictions.
