JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, and will assist in the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment in a timely, safe and effective manner, and assist maintenance in different miscellaneous tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments effectively.
  • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and wiring is an asset.
  • Positive attitude, work ethic, and good communication skills both written and oral
  • Good arithmetic skills
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Support the installation, alignment, and assembly of new equipment and machine components.
  • Follow safety protocols and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when working on machines.
  • Work with the maintenance team to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, using hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to assist in maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in keeping maintenance logs, documenting repairs, and reporting any major issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Support other maintenance team members in completing various projects and tasks as assigned.
