Job Description We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician to assist with daily general building maintenance and repairs at our production facilities and auction pick up centers. This position requires someone with a positive attitude, ability to be self directed, and work with a sense of urgency and efficiency. Duties Include (but are not limited to): Identifying and executing minor repairs such as HVAC, electrical, sinks, toilets, lighting, dock doors, painting, carpentry, concrete, and manufacturing equipment Collaborate with vendors for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance when necessary Collaborate with associates in the planning and installation of equipment throughout the facility Complete facility preventive maintenance tasks Order parts within a budget and manage spare parts inventory for the department Maintain a clean and safe environment that complies to OSHA and company standards other duties as assigned by management Helpful but not required experience: CDL Class A Forklift repair Semi Repair Logistics Requirements 3+ years of experience performing general maintenance and repairs for multiple facilities Experience with welding and metal fabrication Technological/Computer literacy and proficiency recording work in maintenance software Ability to work in a warehouse environment or outside – Non temperature-controlled environment, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods of time, squatting, ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs Perform Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel in a company provided vehicle to multiple location
