We are now hiring a Maintenance Chargehand to join our team!
Maintenance Chargehand | Maintenance Team.
39 hours per week | Permanent contract

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Preparation of budgets
  • Development of reports
  • Performance Management
  • Experience in a similar service
    Salary will be reflective of qualification and level of experience and paid as per Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking planned and unplanned maintenance and responding to requests for repairs and renewals within the organisation.
  • Under the direction of the Facilities and Property Manager, ensure that Cheeverstown properties and grounds are maintained to an excellent standard.
  • Work with the Facilities and Property Manager to develop the maintenance budget on an annual basis and have oversight of the budget on a monthly basis.
  • Prioritising and planning workload in line with Cheeverstown priority system as defined in the maintenance online software system.
  • Ensuring all maintenance work is undertaken and completed directly and/or with contractors, in accordance with above priority system.
  • Ensuring all works undertaken are in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
