As our Maintenance Clerk, you'll keep our maintenance department running smoothly by managing work orders, tracking preventive maintenance schedules, and maintaining accurate records across our fleet management systems. This role is built for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with data, and ready to support our maintenance managers in keeping our trucks on the road. RESPONSIBILITIES • Enter data from completed work orders into the fleet management program • Maintain work pending files • Maintain Preventive Maintenance schedules with assistance from maintenance managers • Create and issue work orders with assistance from maintenance managers • Maintain fuel reports • Maintain computerized parts inventory • Locate or assist in locating materials required by employees and contractors • Monitor data for inconsistencies and errors • Develop and issue computer reports as requested • Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, posting notices, and retrieving and distributing mail • Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • Proven ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees • Strong organizational skills • Team player PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer • Frequent use of hands for typing, filing, and general office equipment • Occasional lifting and carrying of files or office supplies up to 15 pounds • Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing • Ability to occasionally move throughout the maintenance shop or yard to locate parts or materials PAY & BENEFITS • Weekly pay, because who doesn't like getting paid every week • Multiple health plans available, including a tax-advantaged HSA option • Dental coverage • Vision coverage • Company paid life insurance • Retirement plan with a company match of up to 5% • Safety and retention incentives • Paid time off • Access to employee discounts through LifeMart Ecowaste Solutions offers a competitive base salary, the opportunity to earn incentive pay, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
