Maintenance Co-ordinator
Employer: Megaclose Ltd
Location: Nottingham City Centre (120 North Sherwood Street, NG1 4EF)
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays

We are seeking a Maintenance Co-ordinator to join our maintenance office in Nottingham city centre. This is a key role that ensures tenant enquiries are managed effectively and maintenance issues are resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants via telephone, email, and in-person.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule reported maintenance jobs with the in-house maintenance team.
  • Maintain clear communication with tenants, providing updates throughout the repair process.
  • Record and monitor out-of-hours lockouts and fire alarm activations.
  • Liaise with external contractors and local authorities, arranging visits as required and ensuring tenants are kept fully informed.
  • Track progress of works, ensuring completion to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider maintenance team as needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a co-ordination, administration, or customer service role is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • IT literate, with confidence using email and databases (training will be provided on company systems).
  • A proactive, professional, and problem-solving approach.
