Facility Operations * Ensure all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, are in excellent condition. * Maintain compliance with brand standards for property upkeep and appearance. Safety and Compliance * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety and building codes. * Perform regular safety inspections and maintain records of certifications and inspections. Energy Management * Monitor and manage energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs. * Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices. Budgeting and Procurement * Manage the department's budget for maintenance, repairs, and supplies. * Source and negotiate with vendors for equipment, parts, and service contracts. Documentation and Reporting * Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and expenses. * Report regularly to the General Manager on maintenance activities, issues, and improvements.
