An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Controller to join the team based at our Head Office in Sale. This role will provide the opportunity to play an important role in the management of reactive maintenance for the UK’s largest third-party operator of single-family Build to Rent homes. Experience in a similar role within property management and lettings is essential.

Working with your team, you’ll be fundamental in ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed promptly and efficiently and to a high standard.   • Prior experience dealing with responsive and planned maintenance (essential).
  • Prior experience working within the property or facilities management industry (Build to Rent preferred).
  • Ability to diagnose common property maintenance issues via photos and/or videos (preferred)
  • Strong levels of customer service and prepared to go above and beyond
  • Can-do attitude
  • Computer Literate with good working knowledge of Excel
  • High levels of Integrity and Reliability
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with your team, ensuring planned and responsive repairs are conducted in line with set KPIs.
  • Instruction of works based on Schedule of Rates.
  • Assessment of large scale works providing recommendations on contractor suitability and cost
  • Reporting & data: oversee the preparation of internal and external reports including analysis of key metrics and management commentary for Clients and management team
  • Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including maintenance coordinators, accounts, contractors and asset managers
  • Financial management and reporting
  • Assessing and overseeing all property insurance claims
