ABOUT THE MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER ROLE:

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Maintenance Controller to oversee the ongoing maintenance and repair of our commercial vehicle fleet. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you’ll ensure that all vehicles are roadworthy, compliant, and serviced in line with DVSA regulations.

MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage planned maintenance, inspections, and MOT schedules
• Coordinate repairs with internal and external workshops
• Monitor vehicle off-road (VOR) time and minimise downtime
• Authorise repair estimates and ensure cost-effective solutions
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation
• Liaise with drivers and depots to report and resolve defects
• Support in maintaining O Licence compliance across the fleet
