JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

TeamAAM is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at our Fraser Manufacturing Facility. This is a fully onsite role on the 1st shift.

The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee proper functioning and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and technologies at the Fraser Manufacturing Facility. They will assess equipment performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement performance improvements. They will work with equipment vendors to schedule routine or preventive maintenance, coordinating across functions. This person will work closely with engineering and suppliers to troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing processes. They will also identify recurring problems and recommends corrective measures. This individual will supervise a team of equipment maintenance specialists and their individual and team performance.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. They should also have strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. Preferred qualifications include experience working in a union manufacturing environment and experience with Plex.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supervises maintenance associate outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Meets maintenance operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
  • Evaluates systems and equipment performance by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements.
  • Keeps systems and equipment operating by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment.
  • Improves systems and equipment performance by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; immediately addressing issues and alerting others regarding potential concerns.
  • Prepares maintenance information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Contributes to maintenance and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • All other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience with preventative and predictive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office & Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams.
  • Availability and willingness to adopt a flexible work schedule, including working weekends and holidays as needed.
