As a Maintenance Coordinator at COHO Management, you’ll be the backbone of our maintenance operations, ensuring housing co-operatives receive timely and efficient service. What you’ll do As a Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll manage the day-to-day coordination of maintenance services for our client co-ops. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Receiving and processing maintenance work orders and inspection reports Assigning task to trades companies and arranging tenant access Following up with vendors and approving invoices for completed work Preparing daily, weekly and monthly tracking reports for clients Assisting with client billing and monitoring receivables Maintaining organized records and providing professional client reports Attending client meeting and occasional site visits Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring quality control What you bring Three to five years of experience in property or building maintenance Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems Professional demeanor with attention to detail and confidentiality Knowledge of housing co-ops or multi-unit residential buildings is an asset Performing other duties that is assigned by the Maintenance Team Supervisor and Director of Building Services What’s in it for you Statutory Holidays Christmas closure days Monday to Friday work week Competitive compensation – we are a Living Wage employer The chance to contribute to affordable housing and community development across BC Conditions of employment This position often requires flexibility to work outside of regular office hours (i.e. evenings). This position may be based on site in the office of multiple housing co-operatives with frequent activities and travel in and around the lower mainland. The incumbent must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, as well as have the manual dexterity to type, and file documents. In addition, as required at co-op sites, the incumbent must be able to walk short distances/climb stairs.
