REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in firefighting maintenance coordination 3+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of firefighting maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using MS office ( Word/Excel/ outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills..
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Maintenance Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the maintenance department by overseeing various tasks including procurement, Team scheduling, coordination with the Client, and maintaining records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with the procurement department to order necessary maintenance materials and supplies.
  • Coordinate with the site team and prepare quotations for AMC and rectification works as per reports.
  • Liaise with the accounts team to generate invoices in line with agreed payment terms.
  • Communicate with suppliers to arrange and ensure timely delivery of required materials.
  • Update PPM records .
  • Arrange work or shift schedules for the maintenance team to ensure coverage and optimal performance.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies.
  • Monitor the progress of maintenance tasks and adjust schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with the maintenance team, procurement department, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance activities, material usage, financial reports and team performance.
  • Address any issues or concerns promptly and escalate to the Maintenance Manager when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, including work orders, equipment logs.
  • Assist in the preparation of the maintenance budget and monitor expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinating security passes for building access
  • Liaising with the clients as necessary
