Our Opportunity Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.   Roster: 8D 6R FIFO ex Perth    As the Shutdown Coordinator, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to manage high volumes of maintenance tasks - from planning through to execution - ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of each shutdown campaign. The Shutdown team must work closely with other departments and the broader business to ensure plant reliability, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate a strong safety commitment in line with the Fortescue values Plan shutdowns in line with the 16W planning rhythm, working closely with asset owners, planning department and shutdown schedulers Develop resource requirements and engage vendor partners for all shutdowns Manage asset reliability with maintenance tasks by engaging with the asset owners and planning against budgetary requirements Management of vendor resources ensuring safety of personnel, quality of work completed and managing completion against planned and scheduled maintenance Execute modular and major shutdowns demonstrating ownership and accountability Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives in between shutdowns Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in shutdowns and mechanical maintenance within a fixed plant processing facility leading trade personnel is essential Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant Strong communication and interpersonal skills  Ability to work cohesively in a highly dynamic team environment Demonstrate excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines and milestones Trade Qualification is required Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and computerised maintenance management systems, SAP experience is desirable About Us   Be part of something big.
