About The Role ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Hemmant. This is more than just a maintenance role — it’s your opportunity to take ownership of equipment reliability across up to 17 sites in Queensland, supporting operations that are critical to Australia’s construction industry.You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external contractors to ensure plant and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The role involves regular regional travel and comes with a vehicle, phone, and laptop to help you succeed.Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule and manage preventative and reactive maintenance using our CMMS (MAINPAC) Coordinate internal trades, OEM technicians, and external contractors to resolve equipment issues quickly Supervise high-risk maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with WHS procedures Oversee procurement and spares management, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and delays Deliver hands-on support for asset installations, relocations, and upgrades Communicate monthly maintenance activity across the region, including team and toolbox meetings Serve as a technical subject matter expert for plant and processing equipment Lead the rollout of safety and productivity initiatives, including face-to-face training sessions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across the network To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a strong trade background, solid maintenance experience, and a proactive mindset. You’re someone who takes pride in safety, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys collaborating with a diverse team.You’ll need to have: A Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in a hands-on maintenance role At least 2 years’ experience in a similar coordinating or supervisory role A valid, unrestricted driver’s license The ability to self-manage and work independently Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills A sound understanding of health and safety regulations with a commitment to driving safety-first behaviours It’s also great if you have: Experience with CMMS platforms, particularly MAINPAC Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Symix, GE, ARMA) and Power BI Experience managing contractors and supervising high-risk tasks A track record of delivering cost-saving initiatives in maintenance operations Key Benefits Below are some of our key central benefits that are available to InfraBuild employees.
