ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our leading global client within the infrastructure industry is looking for a maintenance coordinator to join their Parramatta office. You will be supporting and educating the national call centre team with specialist knowledge and a greater understanding on maintenance requests that come through to the team. Ideally, you will be a former trades specialist wanting a change of career into an office environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct a triage of incoming work requests
• Coordinate the work requests prior to dispatch to the field (also identifying duplicate, overlapping or out of scope requests)
• Interpreting maintenance plans and identify opportunities to overlap with other incoming work requests
• Operate as a technical escalation point where maintenance or fault is unclear
• Provide coaching and guidance to call centre operators to help better understand technical aspects of maintenance requests
• Assist with development of knowledge management materials

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• 3+ years experience working within a trade or maintenance role
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work within an office environment
• A patient and engaging individual who works well as part of a team
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (basic Excel skills required)
• Strategic thinker - doesn’t mind asking questions to get to the bottom of an issue and gather additional information
