Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and diligent Maintenance Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Port Pirie operation. You will be instrumental in assisting with the coordination and execution of the maintenance plan across the our Smelting Department. This developmental role is a stepping stone to a future Superintendent position, with training and work experience plans tailored to ensure your success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Leadership qualifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading maintenance teams.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 3+ years in a similar role within minerals processing or heavy industrial environments.
  • Expertise in reliability and maintenance management principles.
  • Experience with SAP, root cause analysis, and risk-based revelation sheets is desirable.
  • Familiarity with AMS mobile application, remote equipment monitoring, and supervisory roles.
  • Competence in maintenance planning, scheduling, and use of analytical software like Power BI.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating contract services for plant maintenance alongside the planning department.
  • Aiding in shutdown planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Supporting the superintendent with daily operations.
  • Assisting project and capital teams within your department.
  • Promoting equipment operational excellence and cost-effective solutions.
  • Upholding safety standards and contributing to plant management strategy development.
  • Acting as Superintendent during their absence when required.
