Description SHINE Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator who will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance for the new isotope production facility. The Maintenance Coordinator will report to the Maintenance Manager and work with maintenance technicians and facility technical staff to ensure the reliability of this first-of-a-kind facility. The Maintenance Coordinator will work to develop work packages and procedures for performing scheduled and emergent maintenance on all facility equipment and components, including novel and highly specialized nuclear, chemical processing, and auxiliary equipment. Successful candidates understand that the Maintenance organization is one of diligence, hard work, and action. The base salary range for this position is $40.25 - $43.75 per hour plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The expected start date for this position is April 20 to May 4, 2026. Duties and Responsibilities: Promote a safe work environment and a robust safety culture. Safely work in various and hazardous work environments, such as, but not limited to confined spaces, working at heights, energized equipment, etc. Work with the Maintenance Manager to develop, establish, and implement maintenance department policies, programs and procedures as required for facility operations. Provide maintenance expertise in support of the design and construction of the facility, such as system descriptions, training materials, maintenance plans, and system walk-downs. Develop work packages and procedures to perform scheduled and emergent facility maintenance. Pre-plan and schedule activities for performing maintenance effectively and efficiently. Provide direction and oversight to facility maintenance technicians in all disciplines. Requirements A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in maintenance, work planning, work scheduling or similar roles. Previous experience in using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) as a primary role, or several years as a backup or collateral role. Technical understanding of nuclear facility principles and operation. Ability to work safely within an industrial and radiation environment. The position may occasionally require non-standard work hours and shift work, including nights and weekends, to support high priority activities. Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or related technical field. Experience in Navy Nuclear or nuclear facility engineering, operations, maintenance, or equivalent in an NRC or DOE regulated environment is a significant plus. Working Conditions and Physical Effort: This position requires the physical ability to safely perform essential maintenance functions, such as, but not limited to, working in confined spaces, working at elevated heights, climbing ladders and stairs, and lifting and handling tools, parts, and equipment, for extended periods. Requires frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, grasping, and reaching above the shoulders and below the knees. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average weight objects up to 40 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Fine motor coordination and strong depth perception is beneficial. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
