Overview The Maintenance position will assist with maintaining the professional appearance of the Wellstar-Kennestone campus parking areas (decks, lots, etc.). This position will also provide mechanical support for all parking equipment on campus in a safe and efficient matter. Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Responsibilities Pick up waste/trash from ramps, decks, lots, and garages; dispose of in appropriate receptacles on campus Ramp and garage cleaning: lobby floors and windows, stairwells, elevators, etc. Inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of all parking equipment (gates, ticket dispensers, etc.) Supply inventory levels: tickets, cashier supplies, etc. Assist hospital grounds/facilities departments with snow removal, minor ramp repairs, and other projects Other duties as assigned by management Benefits $14.00/hour PTO accrual 401(k) is available after first six months of employment and 1000 hours worked Uniform provided Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance is available after 60 days for Full Time Employees (30 hours/week) Comprehensive, paid training Rewarding and fun work environment Opportunities for advancement Requirements Valid driver’s license and responsible driving history A minimum of one year maintenance, janitorial, or related experience High school diploma or equivalent Technically and mechanically inclined Familiarity with hand tools and small power tools Integrity: Must be able to work alone, unsupervised for majority of each shift. Must be honest, responsible, reliable, personable, and maintain a professional and helpful image Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language fluently Physical requirements Inside and outside work in all types of weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc. Light to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, kneeling, and/or stooping Lift up to 50lbs periodically Good hand/eye coordination
