Each interaction with workshop participants, faculty and fellow staff members, creates the Omega experience. Job Description Maintenance Crew: non-exempt, full-time; on average 35 hours per week. Reports to Facilities Director. Summary This department is responsible for the physical operation of the campus. Maintenance is called upon to attend to the participant and staff housing; all classroom spaces; trash recyclables as well as the water and sewage systems. Maintenance also holds “night radio” for after-hours maintenance needs of the campus. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Garbage and recycling pick-up. * Minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work. * Housing duties such as changing lightbulbs, oiling doors, moving furniture in participant and staff housing. * Sweeping roadways. * Working with tools and machinery. * Regularly lifting/carrying/moving heavy items. * Possess a valid driver’s license, and operate motor vehicles as necessary. * Other duties as required by the supervisor. Work Details * This position functions indoors and outdoors on Omega's campus. * This is a full-time position, 35 hours a week. Weekend availability is required. Physical Requirements * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. * Ability to frequently move items that weigh 50-100 pounds for various needs. * Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. * Ability to traverse a hilly campus in diverse weather conditions. * Ability to position self to perform diverse job tasks as necessary. * Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. * Ability to work in a constant sate of alertness and safe manner. * Ability to observe details at close range. Required Experience/Qualities * Plumbing, automotive, or general maintenance experience. * Timely, reliable and service-oriented individual. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Team player. * Valid Driver’s License. * Alignment with Omega’s Mission, Goals and Core Values. Responsibilities

The Maintenance Crew is responsible for the physical operation of the campus, including housing duties, classroom maintenance, and after-hours support. They handle tasks such as garbage and recycling pick-up, minor repairs, and maintaining the campus environment.
