Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery and equipment to insure the maximum plant performance Responsibilities Maintains production and quality equipment by performing troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance, and repair of mechanical manufacturing equipment; Responsible for pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic operations of equipment; Maintains facilities and grounds in a clean, well-kept, and efficient operating manner as needed; Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions; Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests; Maintains safe and clean working environment by implemented 5S; complies with all Company and Federal safety procedures and regulations; Ability to perform essential job functions outside of normal working hours; All other work assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivilant Basic knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, plumbing 2 years experience in maintenance in manufacturing environment
