Description Maintenance Technician Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a dedicated and service-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the overall operation, safety, and appearance of the hotel. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining Marriott brand standards while delivering excellent guest service. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections throughout the property Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues Respond quickly to guest maintenance requests and emergency repairs Maintain guestrooms, public areas, pool/spa areas, and hotel equipment to Marriott standards Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records Assist with painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs Support QA readiness and daily property walks Coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping regarding room readiness and maintenance needs Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies Assist with vendor coordination and equipment monitoring as needed Skills & Qualifications: Previous maintenance or engineering experience preferred, preferably in hospitality Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks as needed Strong sense of urgency and accountability Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays HVAC or maintenance certifications are a plus Courtyard by Marriott values team members who take ownership, work with urgency, support operational excellence, and help create exceptional guest experiences daily.
