We are seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician who will apply their electrical knowledge to test, diagnose, maintain, service and repair machinery, electrical controls, equipment and circuitry within the facility. They will perform new equipment installations, modifications to existing equipment and support equipment upgrades. Responsibilities Include: Investigates and troubleshoots equipment failures, faulty operation of equipment while performs preventive electrical maintenance, electrical calibration of equipment and systems Understanding of CNC machine programming and operation and experienced with equipment process networks and software functionality Experienced reading blueprints, wiring schematics, mechanical / electrical wiring diagrams and technical orders to determine methods and sequence of assembly Experienced with supporting plant utilities, troubleshooting and servicing Prepare electrical component sketches and drawings to support problem solving Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify, and execute electrical maintenance assembly and testing Assembly of new or modified electrical / mechanical components for industrial machinery, equipment and measuring instruments Analyze test results related to electrical specifications and objectives Comply with the Lock Out Tag Out procedures and all safety policies and standards, without exception, (PPE, Hot work permit(s), confined space entry procedures, fall protection safety guidelines) Requirements We seek the following: Licensed Journeyman Electrician preferred; Degree in technical field is a plus but not required Five (5) or more years of industrial experience in electrical installation and maintenance within an industrial environment, supporting plant electrical systems and equipment General understanding of Electronics / PLC based operating systems Experienced with remote I/O design and operation Experienced with AC/DC drive motor operation, adjustment and troubleshooting Familiar with Westinghouse, Siemens, Alan Bradley, ABB PLC Controls Effective verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills.
