MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Wage: $42.81/hour (Ticketed) + $2.00/hour night shift premium
Shift: Night – Continental (10–12 hour shifts)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Red Seal / Industrial Electrician License (Required).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
• Strong technical expertise in industrial electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, insulation testers, thermal imagers).
• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills (asset).
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
• Mechanical aptitude or dual-ticket certification is an asset.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, motor controls, automation devices, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform general facility electrical maintenance (120–600V).
• Read and interpret manuals and blueprints to execute installations and repairs.
• Use multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal imagers to diagnose issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Support production teams during runtime to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Complete work orders using the internal asset management system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and follow LOTO policies.
