This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members. Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all electrical systems on the property. This includes circuits, circuit protection devices, lights, outlets, motors, etc. Has a working knowledge of transformers, generators, and switchgear. Responsible for the installation of new circuits/equipment. Initiates requisitions for materials and supplies; prepares reports and maintains records of repairs. Responsible for all repairs to existing circuits/equipment. Works with electrical contractors to ensure proper completion of all major electrical projects. Maintains knowledge of current electrical codes, rules, regulations, and requirements. Prepares and maintains accurate records, files, and reports. Knows and understands company and departmental organizational structure, and adheres to all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Other duties as assigned. BRING US YOUR BEST. High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of full-time, wage-earning experience as an Electrician in maintenance, construction, or an industrial environment required. Completion of an apprenticeship program may substitute for two years of the required experience. Must understand and speak the English language. Must have knowledge of installation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Ability to operate equipment and machinery related to the assigned area. Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, diagrams, and schematics. Ability to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the public. Ability to perform mathematical calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely. Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing only the essential functions include computer and related equipment, typewriter, copier, fax machine, voltage meter, amp meter, various electrical tools, telephone, and automobile. Must have a valid illinois Driver's License. This position is required to drive a company vehicle and adhere to the company MVR policy. Must be willing to be on call in case an emergency arises. Must be willing to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs., occasionally.
