The Maintenance Team at Metropolis Mall is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician. This position is primarily responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance program for all electrical systems, building management systems and life safety equipment. The Electrician must be available for day or evening shifts between (7am-9pm) and participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities
  • Daily inspections of the building mechanical and electrical systems and all required maintenance and repairs. This includes lighting/electrical systems, chilled/heating water systems, rooftop equipment, compressors and boilers, as well as HVAC control systems and fire alarm/sprinkler systems;
  • Monitor and assist contractors in the efficient performance of their contracted duties;
  • Record mechanical/electrical readings at regular intervals;
  • Maintain preventative maintenance program for all life safety equipment and performing repairs;
  • Perform common maintenance duties on various building electrical systems such as lighting ballast changes, lighting control, building automation, fire alarm system,
  • etc.
  • Maintain good public relations with tenants;
