JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an experienced Electrician with a background in planned maintenance, routine servicing, and reactive repairs for electrical systems and manufacturing equipment? We are currently seeking a maintenance technician to join a successful, locally owned factory company with over 50 years of production and manufacturing.
This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary and standard Monday to Friday working hours.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Relevant qualifications in electrical maintenance.
• Experience in machinery repairs, including pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in a factory setting.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to improve system reliability and reduce the likelihood of equipment failures.
• Install, maintain, and test electrical components, wiring, and control systems.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to support equipment efficiency and smooth operations.
• Respond swiftly and professionally to breakdowns and emergency situations.
• Coordinate workload with engineering and production management to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records and documentation on a daily basis.
