Job Description We’re looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Henderson site (Alto). The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for the maintenance of all electrical site equipment as well as achieving targeted levels of availability through planned preventative, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance where required. Your key responsibilities will be to: Ensure all electrical systems and equipment comply with NZ Electricity (Safety) Regulations and AS/NZS 3000 standards. Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns and develop maintenance plans for key equipment. Lead and support automation projects from concept to implementation, including costing and planning. Promote high housekeeping standards and ensure food-grade manufacturing risks are managed under HACCP principles. Drive health and safety compliance through hazard management, staff training, and regular plant audits. Your skills and experience: Current A grade Electrical License. Demonstrated Maintenance Electrician experience ideally from an FMCG Manufacturing / Production, Industrial or similar environment. Experience of working on PLCs and Variable speed drives. A strong commitment to Workplace Health, Safety & Environment. Experience in predictive maintenance solutions and continuous improvement. Good planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. A positive, flexible and constructive approach to dealing with operational issues. Excellent teamwork and communication skills Self-motivated and ability to work unattended. Familiar with office 365. Approachable, friendly and professional with a sense of humor and easy-going attitude.
