ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Site Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing any electrical systems and equipment across our facility.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and wiring systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment and systems reliable and reduce breakdowns.
• Install and upgrade electrical systems (motors, control circuits, lighting, distribution boards).
• Ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes, standards, and workplace health & safety.
• Document and report maintenance activities including repairs, inspections, and system updates.

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role preferably in the food / FMCG landscape. You will also have previous experience and skills regarding the following.

• Electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance of industrial/food processing equipment.
• Fault finding in complex electrical systems and machinery to meet production targets.
• Perform both breakdown response and preventive maintenance, including routine facility upkeep.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Identify and implement improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance.
• Computer literacy with experience using maintenance systems (e.g., MEX).
• Knowledge of WHS principles and compliance with safety standards.
• Trade-qualified electrician; prior experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
