$45.87-$53.93/hr + Penalties and Overtime when required Busy Pet Food Manufacturing Site 491 Skilled Visa Holders Welcome to apply (must have NSW Accredited Electrician Qualifications) Relocation Support Offered We are excited to welcome the next Qualified Electrician to the Real Pet Food team based in Dubbo Working in our Maintenance team you will be responsible for the provision of preventative and corrective electrical maintenance as part of the factory maintenance schedule. Key Responsibilities in the role include: The efficient and ‘hands on’ repairs and maintenance of on-site, electrical systems or electrical sub componentry or instrumentation whilst adhering to safe systems of work, compliance to food safety and following engineering standards set out by Real Pet Food Co (RPF). Please note, sometimes our production lines require reactive maintenance mid-production, so you must be comfortable working in and around equipment that may have food products in the production process. Electrical maintenance work consisting of both unplanned (reactive or breakdown maintenance) as well as planned (corrective, preventative or work that is of a rebuild nature) for both offline or online equipment Being first point of contact for electrical maintenance requirements from on-site internal customers (Operations, Safety, Quality and Engineering), but also the timely escalation for additional assistance or work outside their remit (e.g mechanical, other specialised trades) in line with ‘RPF Escalation Protocols’ Completing any assigned or planned work (corrective, preventative or work that is of a rebuild nature), and the scoping of material or additional labour requirements for work that they identify as ‘requests for work’ - Time to time investigations of electrical, control, infrastructure or automation systems, and the immediate escalation and reporting of safety or food safety – near miss reporting, incidents or hazard reporting. What will help you succeed Proven experience in a similar role within a food production or manufacturing environment is essential Excellent communication skills and sound judgment particularly with regards to escalation of any issues and adherence to safety protocols A strong team player, ready to be part of our pack, working collaboratively and cross-functionally. Proficient in computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to and effectively utilize our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Experience with inventory management. Must be flexible and willing to engage in all maintenance operations, even when the focus extends beyond electrical tasks. You will need to have a go-getter and proactive mindset looking to make a genuine difference. Qualifications in Electrical Trades is essential (proof required) A passion for pets!
