SUMMARY: Provides a diverse range of duties involved in guest related maintenance issues and day-to-day operations of the resort to include the Legacy Lodge and Conference Center and the Lake houses on Lanier Islands and supporting other venues within the property.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   JOB DESCRIPTION * 2nd shift: 3:30 pm to midnight * Repairs to guest rooms, facilities, and other resort related equipment. * Basic maintenance, repair, of plumbing systems * Basic electrical maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment and systems throughout the resort to ensure safe and proper operation. * Monitor, maintain, repair and carry out preventative maintenance programs on resort heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. * Maintenance of resort pools to include chemical check. * Hotel experience a must * Flexible Schedule QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.   REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Responsibilities
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, resort facilities, and equipment. This includes plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC monitoring, and pool chemical checks.
