We are looking for passionate people that want to be part of our journey and embrace the behaviours that we stand for: We Dare to challenge the status quo, to innovate and to learn fast We Care for the environment, our customers and each other We Deliver by taking accountability for our decisions and actions About the role Provide mechanical maintenance support for Extrusions & Materials Manufacturing Implement planned maintenance activities and provide feedback on these activities Work with Electrical support to diagnose and implement solutions Work with Operating staff in Extrusions & Materials to diagnose and implement solutions What will you do? Provide mechanical expertise and general engineering/problem-solving support to the Extrusion & Materials Manufacturing team, ensuring equipment operates effectively. Minimize engineering-related downtime by employing best practice maintenance techniques and completing preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on time and in full. Address outstanding PMs or repair works promptly and provide feedback to the Maintenance Manager and planner on equipment failure analysis to prevent future issues. Suggest improvements to PM tasks to align with equipment needs and maintain awareness of daily production and maintenance requirements. Execute timely and effective repairs during breakdowns and perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Management. About you Trade qualified (level 4) Fitting and Turning or equivalent with at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience Computer literacy in MS Office Experience in Analytical Trouble Shooting, Problem Analysis, Root Cause Analysis Ability to work independently Understanding of plastic production processes would be desirable Why join us?
