JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of operational efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Mechanically biased with electrical knowledge as an advantage.
· Previous experience, operating conventional lathes and milling equipment.
· Previous experience of working in a lean manufacturing background.
· Previous experience of working in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
· Ability to work at height.
· Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and unsupervised.
· Ability to manage projects to tight deadlines and to co-ordinate personnel.
· Quality and Health & Safety awareness.
· Experience on hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
· ONC/HNC educated in an electrical or mechanical discipline.

Work Location: In perso

· Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports.
· Confer with engineers/contractors and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve machine malfunctions and provide technical information.
· Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation.
· Provide feedback to managers with a degree of accuracy.
· Able to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
· Establish and co-ordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and supply of materials required for maintaining machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.
· Collaborate with electrical/mechanical engineers and other personnel to identify, define and solve machine related problems.
· Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on all Plant, equipment and buildings across multiple sites.
· Must have a can do, will do attitude.
