Location: Spartanburg, SC

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing multi-axis CNC machinery. You’ll play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance.

REQUIRED SKILLSEXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in CNC maintenance (multi-axis, metal-cutting machines preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical (bearings, motors, belts), electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe work practices
  • Flexible availability for emergency call-outs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience with machine alignments and upgrades
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role requires physical agility and strength, including:

  • Standing, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting
  • Accessing internal machine components for diagnostics and repairs
  • Use of manual and power tools, slings, and lifting equipment
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machines and facility equipment
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Conduct repairs and calibrations on handheld and fixed equipment
  • Maintain facility infrastructure including fittings and fixtures
  • Manage spare parts inventory and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during repairs
  • Oversee and manage subcontractors on-site
