JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for equipment maintenance and improvements for die attach bonders, wire bonders, welders, ovens, testers, etc. * Responsible to lead a group of technicians.. * Identify, lead and implement cost reduction activities. * Responsible in preparing & perform new equipment set-up and buy-off. * Ensure proper facilities are available for new equipment set-up. * Liaise with equipment vendor to improve tool capability. * Provide feedback on equipment and material issues/make recommendations and offer solutions to ensure new products meet requirements. * Work with process engineers in preparing and updating process documentations and work instructions for assembly line process and equipment. * Work with production team in improving yield & UPH of the assigned processes, including cost reduction activities. * Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc * Derive Continual Improvement * Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering – Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent. * Relevant working experience in networking, test process or product transfer. * Familiar with product development process & proven success of releasing products to production. * Understand basic test methodologies and able to interpret/read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings. * Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products.
